SOS is inclusive. No one is excluded, and no aspect of anyone is excluded.
SOS does not have an agenda for you.
Because new wine needs new wineskins, SOS is a Conscious Open Space Organization (COSO). Its form is rooted in the experience and knowledge of the global Open Space Technology practitioner community and of indigenous wisdom keepers.
SOS exists to open and hold space for personal and cultural transformation, neither of which is possible without the other.
SOS holds space for critical knowledge-transfer and skill-transfer.
SOS holds space for the conscious un-learning of the habits of the paradigm of domination, oppression, repression, empire, and greed.
SOS holds space for contact between individual essence/purpose and the essence/purpose of emerging communities and new life-honoring work.
SOS neither starts here nor ends here. SOS honors the path of each arriving and the path of each unfolding.
SOS Asheville holds an intention of establishing seasonal free SOS gatherings and cultivating free online collaboration, with leadership provided by a locally-rooted SOS Council.
SOS Asheville holds an intention of sharing its methodology in effective and careful ways to support the establishment of SOS communities and councils in other locations.
SOS holds space for the participation of beings other than the two-legged variety.
SOS holds space for remembering who we are.
