If you have participated with us in any SOS Asheville gathering and you would like to be able to post messages to the main part of the weblog (anyone who visits can post comments), please email Chris Weaver at chris@springbranch.us and I will sign you up. You will first need to sign up at WordPress with a username and password.
(Here’s how: Go to www.wordpress.com. Click the blue box: Get a Blog Now. Enter a username, your email address, click the legal flotsam box, and select “Just a Username.” Hit next, and they’ll send you your password (which you can change). Email me, and I’ll activate you as an author. To get to your SOS Asheville author’s “dashboard” to post messages, just go to wordpress.com, sign in with your username and password, and click on SOS Asheville. Explore what you can do…It’s very user-friendly…& feel free to email me if you have questions (chris@springbranch.us).
AUTHOR GUIDELINES
As and author, feel free to post any messages of interest to the SOS Asheville community. You can report on progress with your initiatives, announce events, and link to other websites. You can edit anything you have posted before. You can even upload photos. Please keep your postings respectful, responsible, and aligned with the theme of Transforming Ourselves and Our Culture toward Dynamic Sustainability.
When you post a message, you will be able to check boxes before you publish to categorize your message. This is very important to make the weblog user-friendly. Each Initiative already has a category available. If you would like to add a new category, email me and I can add it easily.
