I’m a student transferring into Warren Wilson next year, interestested in sutdying Urban Permaculture and Community Building. I’ll be at the Portland convergence this year, and am planning on attending the ashevillage building convergence as well. If there’s anyhting i can do to help, please feel free to give me a call; my cell number is (914)-309-5495
I’m an experienced cook, i’m working with a community in Basalt, Colorado right now to help get them on the path to food independence, and i’m starting to build up a network of interested people across the country. I would be glad to volunteer and help the Ashevillage event get on its feet and running, since i chose WWC in part becuase i loved the city and where it seemed to be going.
Have you guys talked to City Councilman Brownie Newman at all? I heard him speak while i was at the school, and loved what he was saying – i know he’d be down.
